Our family sends our prayers and thoughts to Ron and his family. Rita fought a valiant battle and she will be remembered as such a joy. It was a year ago that I had a wonderful chat with her as she was walking to the corn festival. Years ago we had many phone chats because she was so easy to talk to. I know you will miss her.

I worked with Rita on NMI missions and first met her when she was the zone coordinator, Maumee Valley, for our churches. She gave me a lot of encouragement and direction and was always so gracious and helpful when I contacted her. She was a role model for me as a Christian and as a NMI president for Hope Community Church of the Nazarene. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones.

Ron, Thad, Brandon and family, my heart just sank in sadness finding out you lost a beautiful wife, mother and friend. I have the fondest memories of your entire family and the great fun we had. Rita was like a big sister to me and a beautiful friend. I loved babysitting for the boys and joking with you Ron on a regular basis! I hate that we lost touch living so far away from each other, but I want you to know I will be there in thoughts and prayers. She was a beautiful soul and now she's in our Lord's hands. Love to you all, Cindy
