Robert "Bob" H. Cicora

Robert H. Cicora, age 81, owner of Bob Cicora's Body Shop and co-owner of Post and Rail Stables in Swanton, passed away peacefully in his home, with his loving family at his side, Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2018.  He was born January 17, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Anthony and Mary (Barone) Cicora.  He married Bonnie Jean Bush on February 7, 1959, and she survives.  He is also survived by his daughter, Dawn M. Cicora and his grandchildren, Brandy (Joseph) Rhodes and Julian Tubbs.

Bob can best be described as a true friend.  Wherever he went, it seemed like he knew everyone, and they were always happy to see Bob.  Bob's enthusiasm, his wonderful sense of humor, his generosity to give and help his family and friends, his honesty, and dedicated work ethic paint a portrait of a respected and well-loved man.

Bob's best friend will always be the love of his life, Bonnie.  It was impossible to ever think of Bob without thinking of Bonnie and vice-versa.  Bob and Bonnie Cicora were the kind of couple that exemplify lasting love with all its flawed beauty and comfortable craziness.  To have shared in their love was a precious privilege and memorable life moment.

And now Bob has entered into that eternal joy.  But we, who remain in this life, already miss our dear friend so very much.  His memory will bring us smiles and tears.  And the hope of seeing him again and hearing his great laugh and enjoying his personality will sustain us until we are blessed to be with Bob some day soon.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton, where funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m.
