Robert “Bob” Brashear, 82, died suddenly in his home on Monday, October 5. Born July 1, 1933 to Fred and Blanch Brashear, he married his wife Betty on December 28, 1968 in Kenton, Ohio.
Bob enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially with his granddaughter Chasady Freeze (Robert), grandson Damon Miller, and two of his great grandchildren Mason and Bryson Freeze.
He is survived by his wife Betty, children Larry (Debbie), Terry (Ginny), Tammy Smith (John), Tony (Theresa), Marcie Miller (Scott), brother Guy (Wilma), sisters Chloe Cole and June Pelton (Henry), sister-in-law Pat, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, sisters Lois Harmon, Georgie Seeley, Fenchie Fisher, Nettie Seel, and brother Bill.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 8th from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton (419.826.2631). Memorial services will be private.
The family would like to thank the many health care providers who allowed Bob to live such a long and meaningful life.
