Robert Michael Jordan

Robert "Bob" Michael Jordan, a fun loving silly kid and over achiever, age 25, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in his home, Tuesday morning, December 4, 2018.  He was born January 21, 1993 in Toledo, Ohio to his loving parents, Michael and Eleanor (Giardini) Jordan.  Bob attended Penta Career Center where he specialized in Geospacial Information Systems, and graduated from Swanton High School in 2011 near the top of his class.  He participated in the Swanton Bulldogs Marching Band, cross country and track.  Bob worked for Sidonian Tree Service in Maumee.

Bob was proud to serve as a Boy Scout, and all his hard work to be awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. He loved the great outdoors fishing, hunting and camping.  He also was an avid reader of fantasy novels.  Bob was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and simply worshiped and adored his 3-year old daughter, Aleja Rose.

Bob will be greatly missed by his parents, Michael and Ellie Jordan; daughter, Aleja Rose Jordan and her mother, Felicia Gaucin; his brother, Matthew Jordan; sister, Rachel Jordan; grandfather, Paul Giardini; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice Giardini and Richard and Rhonda Redd.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 8th from 3 to 6 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 N. Main St. in Swanton, where a funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor J.T. Bean officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made to a trust fund that will be used for Aleja's education.

Mike, Ellie, Matt and Rachel - We were so saddened at the news of Bob's sudden passing. Although it's been years, we still recall the fun we had camping and canoeing together in Mio MI, and what a bright, sweet kid Bob was. Please know that you are all on our hearts as we pray for peace and comfort for your family during this difficult time

John & Julie Jordan and our children, John, Joshua, Jaclyn, and Jenna, who were Robert's cousins, tender our deepest sympathy and condolences on his tragic passing. His achievement of "Eagle Scout" rank in the Boy Scouts of America and his academic and extra-curricular activities in High School speak to the character and accomplishment of his youthful life. We pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the grief of your loss and leave you only with the treasured memories of Robert's life. Take comfort in knowing "that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord".
