Robin "Rob" R. Steusloff

Robin R. “Rob” Steusloff, age 65, of Liberty Center, Ohio, died Tuesday morning, April 12, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born August 28, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio to Raymond Steusloff and Evelyn Koder Kerr. Rob was a 1975 graduate of Swanton High School. Following graduation, he enlisted and served 12 years in the United States Navy.

Rob worked as an electrician for Campbell Soup in Napoleon for 38 years, retiring in February of 2020. He was a member of the Napoleon Eagles and Grand Rapids American Legion Post #232.

Rob is survived by his mother, Evelyn Kerr; father and stepmother, Raymond (Sue) Steusloff; son, Alex (Melissa) Steusloff; granddaughter, Elliot May Steusloff; siblings, Delmar (Tina) Kerr, Steve (Brenda) Kerr, Dan (Jan) Steusloff, Lori (Brent) Schelling, Ray (Kandie) Forest, Elaine (Ron) Wagner and Jamie (Lisa) Kerr; as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rob was preceded in death by his stepfather, Donald Kerr; stepbrothers, Donald Kerr, Jr., Bobby Kerr and Elmer “Mo” Kerr and nephew, Raymond Steusloff.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 14^th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Visitation will continue Friday, April 15th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home, where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Justin McCall will officiate. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in West Unity.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
