Rollo Bradford

October 24, 1928 — September 30, 2015

Rollo W. Bradford, born October 24, 1928, surrounded by his loving family, entered a state of peace with the Lord on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lois (Wandtke) Bradford; brother, Paul Bradford; his son, Chris; daughters, Peggy and Penny; and son, Kim. He also has 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Cloyce and Grace Bradford; and sister, Joyce Schmuhl.

As a Charter member of his growing church, he served as an Elder and church councilman for many years at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Swanton, where he remained an active member through his life.

All his life, he was a working man with a kind and giving heart. A "jack-of-all-trades", he could build anything. As a tradesman and member of Local 50 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for 67 years, Rollo worked on many projects across Northwest Ohio. In his later years, he built children's confidence and knowledge in the skills of archery while volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America; however, his real and true love was building upon his wonderful relationship with his family. Of the things he enjoyed in life, he loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing cards, or captaining his pontoon boat at his lake property in Hillsdale, MI. A jovial man of few words, he leaves behind a legacy of hard work and loving care.
