Sandra Lee Hudik

Sandra Lee Hudik, age 73, of Metamora, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born November 25, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, to Carrie Francis and GD “Red” Barrett. On June 3, 1961, she married her beloved husband, John G. Hudik.

Sandy was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Assumption. She enjoyed many things in life; including traveling to her grandchildren’s sporting events, going to the casino, vacationing in Florida, walking along the beaches collecting seashells, playing Bingo, crafting, attending craft shows, having coffee uptown with the ladies and watching home shopping channels.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 55 years, John; daughters, Dawn (Lee) Pfund and Debi Arquette; grandchildren, Jessica Pfund, Christopher (Amy) Pfund, Ashlie Arquette and Andrew Arquette; and grandson, Cameron Pfund.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, May 11th from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora (419.644.3601), with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, May 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption, where visitation will be one hour prior. Father Michael Dandurand will preside. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Metamora Fire Department or Holy Trinity Church.
