Shawn Michael Leininger

Shawn Michael Leininger, age 25, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee.  He was born January 19, 1993 in Toledo, Ohio to Maria (Staccone) and Robert "Jamie" Leininger.  He was a 2011 graduate of Delta High School, where he played football and baseball.  Shawn worked as a  mechanic for K&L Trucking in Delta.  He loved watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers.  

Shawn will be greatly missed by his 4-year old son, Dominic James Leininger; mother and father, Maria and Robert "Jamie" Leininger; sister, Danielle Leininger; paternal grandparents, Darrell and Carol Leininger; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
 

Shawn was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dominic and  Kathryn Staccone.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 15th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral home in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a memorial service celebrating Shawn's life will begin at 7:30 p.m.  

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
