Shirley Keil

Shirley Keil, age 82, of Delta, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family Saturday morning, May 6, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Shirley was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 24, 1935 to Joseph and Rose Ryan. She married the love of her life, Clifford Keil on November 13, 1954.

Shirley was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church, where she served on the Alter Rosary Society, and helped with funeral luncheons. She enjoyed sewing, baking pies, flower gardening, canning, and playing bingo. Shirley and Clifford loved to travel, they spent most winter months in Florida. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her childen and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Clifford; children, Donna (Mark) Lotycz (Andrea, Ashley, Amanda, and Adam), Peggy (Jeff) Mohr (Josh, Jake, and Ben), Brenda (Kyle) Robinson (Rene, Ryan, and Riley), Perry (Amy) Keil, Doug (Lisa) Keil (Todd and Chad); son-in-law, Doug Blausey (Brian, Brad, Beth, and Brittany); 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Ryan and Bill (Vicky) Ryan.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debbie Blausey; sisters, Mary Ann Pruss and Rita Helle; brothers, George and Leonard Ryan.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton (419.826.2631). A Mass of Resurrection will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10th at St. Richard Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Richard’s Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Richard Catholic Church.
