Sophie Marie Farnsel

Sophie Marie Farnsel passed peacefully in the arms of her mother, Tuesday morning, November 15, 2016. She was born at 10:24 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2016.

Sophie was the daughter of Lauren and Edward Farnsel of Metamora, Ohio. She is survived by her sister Zoe; cousins, McKenzie, Alexa and Lyla; maternal grandparents, Barbara and Jon Wiemer of Whitehouse, OH; paternal grandparents, Donna and Mark Farnsel of Metamora, OH and great-grandmother, Patsy Knierim. Sophie gave us a lifetime of love in her short time with us.

A special heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses, doctors and staff in the neonatal unit at Toledo Children’s Hospital.

Family and friends may visit Friday, November 18th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 413 E. Main St. in Metamora (419.644.3601). A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption with Fr. Michael Dandurand presiding. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Visitation: Friday, November 18th from 4 to 8 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora

Funeral Mass: Saturday, November 19th at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption

Interment: Amboy Township Cemetery
