Stacy Jo (Vaughn) Gorajewski

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we remember the radiant life of Stacy Jo Gorajewski, who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on March 1, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio, Stacy was a force of nature – a true original with a laugh that filled the room, a heart that embraced everyone, and a fiery spirit that never dimmed.

She made her home in Swanton, Ohio where her door was always open, the coffee was strong, and the love was unconditional. Stacy had an unmatched zest for life – she loved deeply, gave freely, and never did anything halfway. Whether she was spending time with family, doting on her animals, or lighting up a room with her quick wit and fearless energy, Stacy lived boldly and loved fiercely.

She was the beloved daughter of Dale DeWayne Vaughn, Sr., and the late Jacqueline Charlene (McCreary) Vaughn. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Mullin Rose, and son-in-law, Daniel Rose, along with her two precious grandsons, Logan and Niko Kallonakis, who were the absolute joy of her life.

Stacy shared a beautiful, adventurous partnership with Ronald Lanzenberger, whose love and laughter made every day brighter.

She was a proud and loving sister to Dale Vaughn Jr. (Tammy), Michael Vaughn (Julie), and Michelle Beck. Her spirit lives on through her nephews: Tim Vaughn (Suzie), Matt Vaughn (Rachel), Alex Beck (Carly), Michael Vaughn, Jr., Ryan Vaughn (Paige), and Carson Whiting -all of whom she loved like her own.

Stacy had a wild heart, a kind soul, and a deep love for animals. She was the first to laugh, the first to hug, and the last to let you feel alone. Her strength, generosity, and unforgettable presence touched countless lives.

A celebration of Stacy’s life will be held in July 2025, with details to follow. In true Stacy fashion, it won’t be a goodbye – it’ll be a gathering full of laughter, music, stories, and love.

She may be gone from our sight, but she’ll never be gone from our hearts. Her spark lives on in every life she touched.
