Sueann Kosier

Sueann K. Kosier, age 42, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, January 31, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born April 5, 1974 in Toledo, Ohio to Steven Blank and Katherine (Miller) Lyons. Sueann was a 1992 graduate of Rogers High School, and on April 18, 1992 married Leroy Kosier, Jr.

Sueann was a very loving and helpful person. She enjoyed putting pictures together in albums, setting out seasonal decorations inside and outside of her home, and she loved her cats.

Sueann will be greatly missed by her husband of 24 years, Leroy; daughter, Danielle Kosier; son, Johnathon Kosier; mother, Kathy Lyons, father, Steven Blank; stepfather, Edward Menden; mother-in-law, Yvonne Kosier, sisters, Sherri Blank-Ringer, Katherine (JB) Suttles; nieces, Angel Suttles and Sierra Ringer; nephew, Tony Newton; brothers-in-law, Scott (Julie) Kosier, Kevin (Katie) Kosier and Matt (Casie) Kosier, and their children.

Sueann was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Leroy Kosier, Sr.; brother-in-law, Mark Kosier; and her most cherished four-legged feline, Amanda.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 2nd from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Friday, February 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Deacon Jerry Ziemkiewicz officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Diabetes Foundation, or to a charity of the donors choice.
