Teresa R. Johnson

Teresa R. Johnson, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was born June 5, 1955 in Bowling Green, Kentucky and the daughter of Herbert and Betty (VanHoose) Hebebrand.

Teresa graduated from Penta County Vocational School in 1973. She enjoyed playing cards with her family, traveling across the country with her husband, Chris, especially to Gatlinburg, TN. She always liked giving helpful instruction to Chris on his golf game. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Christopher; sons, James H. (Melissa) Johnson and Anthony (Vesta) Johnson; brother, Jeff (Kay) Hebebrand; grandchildren, Hannah Pegler, Lila Johnson and Ella Johnson.

Teresa was preceded by her parents; and sister, Patricia Salyer.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 21st from 3 to 7 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 22nd at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dutch Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fulton County Relay for Life.
