Thomas Lee Thompson, Sr.

Thomas Lee Thompson, Sr., age 69, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, November 21, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 18, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to William Lee and Shirley Ann (VonAhrens) Thompson.

Thomas was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, gardening and in his younger days, enjoyed rabbit and coon hunting with his brothers.

Thomas is survived by his son, Tommy Thompson, Jr.; daughters, Jody Thompson and Amy (Robert) Jaramillo; brothers, Bill (Brenda) Thompson, Larry (Deanna) Thompson and Danny Thompson; and 7 grandchildren and his faithful companion, Teddy.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Thompson.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 27th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, Ohio, where Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Swanton Township Cemetery.
