Timothy F. Douglas

Timothy F. Douglas, age 57, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 28, 2016, at his home, with his loving family at his bedside. He was born July 25, 1958 in Peru, Indiana to William Emerson and Mary Louise (Spangler) Douglas. Tim attended Woodward High School and served in the United States Navy. He worked 26 years for Heidtman Steel, and on October 4, 1992, he married Theresa Wymer.

Tim enjoyed camping, cooking on the grill, and was a huge Elvis and LA Lakers fan. Most of all, he loved being a Papa to his grandchildren.

Tim will be remembered for his great sense of humor and he will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife, Theresa; children, Jeffrey (Lauren), Daniel (Melissa), Joy (Corey), Hope (Chris), and Scott; grandchildren, Faith, Destiny, Harmony, Serenity, Patience, Honesty, Love, Cherish, Chance, Victoria and Ethan; siblings, Daniel, Jean, Betty, Mary and Becky; step-siblings, Bob, Wendy, Rick, Don and Jenny; as well as his special niece, Jennifer.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Trista and Corey; and siblings, Vicki, William and Wanda.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, March 31st from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631). Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1st at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment, with Military Rites, will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.

Funeral Service: Friday, April 1st at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Home

Interment: Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta
