Vickie Jo Luzier

Vickie Jo Luzier, age 66, of Grand Rapids, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Monday morning, August 13, 2018 at Heartland of Waterville.  She was born October 30, 1951 in Toledo, Ohio to Gladys Tompkins and Paul Householder. Vickie was a 1969 graduate of Sylvania High School. 

She worked as a unit secretary for The Toledo Hospital and Flower Hospital.

Vickie loved traveling to Tennessee and admiring the mountains.  She loved collecting black bear figurines and plaques, fishing, sewing and crafting, and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends.

She is survived by her partner, Linda Johnson; brother, Duane Householder, Cousin, Darlene Tacett, Godson, Brandon (Michelle) Loboschefski and his children, Paige, Caleb, Matthew and Sam; her Goddaughter, Amber (Scott) Schmid and her children Alex, Cameron and Cora; as well as LaVaughn Loboschefski, who was like a mother to her; and lots of extended family and friends. 

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gladys; and brother, Phil Householder.
 

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral home, 204 Chestnut St. in Swanton (419.826.2631), where a memorial service celebrating her life will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Wenz officiating.
