Virginia F. Waller

Virginia Frances Waller, age 87, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Monday morning, October 30, 2017 at Heritage Village of Waterville. She was born April 12, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to Celia (Johnson) and Evan Spiroff. On November 19, 1949, she married Robert F. Waller, Sr. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2009.

Virginia was a clerical worker at General Mills and a member of Grain Millers Union. She loved to needle point, make ceramics, sew, work jigsaw and crossword puzzles, rug hooking, play golf, and she and her late husband, Robert, loved traveling cross country on their motorcycle.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randy Waller, Robert, Jr. (Susan) Waller and Timothy Waller; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband of 60 years, Robert, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Fleming; and grandchild, Olivia.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, November 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton (419.826.2631). Funeral services will be begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Donna Stutzman officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or The Alzheimer's Association.
