Wesley Harman Strayer

Wesley Harman Strayer, age 54, of Neapolis, died February 3, 2018, at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan, surrounded by his family. 

Wes was employed as a production mechanic at Ardagh Metal Beverage Inc. in Whitehouse.  He was a former Captain of the Providence Township Fire Department and a former member of the Swanton Fire Department.  Wes also enjoyed spending time at his cottage on Long Lake. 

Wes is survived by his wife Nancy; mother Janet (Ron) Mortemore; children, Jessica (Mike) Strayer, Jake (Danielle) Strayer, and Jordan (Mick) Ogren; sisters Cheryl Smigelski and Jo (Pat) Ramlow; mother-in-law, Rose Muniz; and 3 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his Father Gene. 

Celebration of life will be scheduled for a time and date to be announced in August. Arrangements have been entrusted to Grisier-Weigel Funeral Home in Delta.
