Willard "Bill" Dale Buck

Willard “Bill” Dale Buck, age 80, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021 at his home. He was born January 16, 1941 in Gibsonburg, Ohio to Dale August and Laurene Alberta (Henline) Buck. Bill was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School, and married Patricia Rosonowski on November 4, 1972.

Bill was a member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Parish and the Delta Eagles Lodge 2597. Bill worked as a heavy equipment operator and up until 6 weeks ago was a truck driver for Exseed Landscape. Bill was a member of Operating Engineers Local Union 18. Bill enjoyed golfing, watching Nascar and was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Patricia; sister, Barbara (Charles) Rohtert and nephew, Justin (Beth Ann) Buck.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeffrey Buck.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 12th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at St. Richard’s Cemetery.
