William Cramer, Jr

William J. Cramer, Jr. age 58, of Berkey, Ohio, entered into eternal life, Sunday morning, November 1, 2015, at Kingston Care Center in Sylvania. He was born June 26, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio to William J. and Joan M. (Bomba) Cramer, Sr., and was a 1975 graduate of Evergreen High School. Bill worked on the transmission line at Jeep for 29 years, retiring in 2005.

Bill was a member of the Lutheran Church of Monroe County Dart Ball League. He also found volunteering once a month at the Emmanuel Lutheran Food Pantry in Ida, Michigan very rewarding. Bill was an avid reader and loved watching movies and working on his computer. He will be remembered as a person who was a helper to everyone, especially his neighbors.

Bill will be sadly missed by his sisters, Patricia Cramer of Swanton, OH and Karen (Jeff) Zalubil of Rossford, OH; three aunts; many cousins; and four legged companion, Jasmine.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Kathleen.

Family and friends may visit Tuesday, November 3rd from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Metamora, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Prayers will begin in the funeral home Wednesday, November 4th at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Resurrection at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Michael Dandurand presiding. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

A very special thank you to the staff of Kingston Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care they provided Bill during his six month stay.

Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Food Pantry or to a charity of donor's choice.
