Travis Weigel

Owner

Travis is a life-long resident of Swanton and charter member of the Swanton Lions Club. He attended St. Richard Elementary School and is a graduate of Swanton High School. Travis attended BGSU and graduated from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the State of Ohio and is a Mortuary Science Licensee in the State of Michigan.

Travis is married to his amazing wife, Brooks, and proud father of four wonderful kids. Eva is a social worker, Trent is obtaining his masters degree in business administration at OSU, Lucy is a freshman at Swanton High School and Gwyndolyn is a freshman at Notre Dame Academy. They love spending time at the lake house in Michigan and taking road trips in the RV.

Bryan Wagner

Preneed Advisor /Monument Design Specialist

Bryan has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 27 years. He has two sons, Michael and Kyle, and resides in Toledo, Ohio.

Brooks Weigel

Funeral Director

Brooks is married to Travis and is also an Ohio licensed Funeral Director. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2019 with a Bachelors of Mortuary Science. Brooks was Class Representative and awarded the Joel E. Crandall Restorative Art Award. When she isn't working, she enjoys cooking, baking and spending time at the barn with her horse, Boston.

Donna is a retired pastor. You can find her most days playing the piano at the Fulton County Senior Center in Wauseon.

Piper

Piper is a 4 year old Labradoodle and is currently pursuing her dream of becoming a Comfort Dog here at Weigel Funeral Home. Although the trainer said “Not all dogs are born to be comfort dogs”, we here at Weigel Funeral Home still remain hopeful.
